"Modern man listens more willingly to witnesses than to teachers, and if he does listen to teachers, it is because they are witnesses." (St. Paul VI)

When I ask people how they became interested (or disinterested) in physics, math, or science, the answer usually begins the same way: "I had a teacher ...". Teaching is a passion of mine because I realize the power it has to pique or quench excitement in others. I also recognize its importance for human civilization: we can accomplish more collectively than individually, and training others through teaching is an investment that reaps greater rewards than our isolated accomplishments.

Student Feedback

PHYS 1112

  • "Every time I left a discussion class, I had gained new knowledge on the topic. He helps us understand the material in a logical way, more than just equations."

  • "He was outstanding. He helped me understand the content intuitively and I would have to credit him as one of the main reasons I was able to grasp and have control of the material."

  • "He explained things very clearly for us and always led us to think more deeply. The best TA ever!"

  • "He was amazing and my favorite TA of the semester."

  • "One of best TAs I've had for a course."

  • "[He] made me feel like he cared and genuinely wanted us to succeed."

  • "Amazing TA. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone."
